Fuji F31 vs F100 - ISO Comparison

The crops on this page were taken from the following still-life scene:



Crop #1 is marked in yellow, crop #2 in red and crop #3 in blue. The first two crops show 100% magnification, the third one is from images that were first downsized to screen size.

Technical details: Both cameras were tripod mounted and with 2" timer enabled for all the shots. OIS was turned off, as was the enhanced DR mode (both settings only apply to the F100). I used custom WB, center AF focus point and multi-segment metering with 0.0 exposure compensation. I tried to get similar composition by zooming both lenses to a similar focal length, but the lack of mechanically linked zoom ring made it difficult to get identical results, which is why the F100 shot turned out to be a bit wider.

Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 was used for downsizing
(Bicubic algorithm), JPEGCrops v0.75 was used for lossless cropping.
